The jar has a high-shouldered tapering body, short neck and      北宋 磁州窯黑釉鐵銹斑梅瓶
everted mouth with raised outer rim, and is covered with a
mottled blackish-brown glaze that ends in a line above the foot
and is decorated in russet with small fower-like markings.
