carved in various levels of relief depicting two scholars
conversing on a rocky outcrop beneath pine trees in a
mountainous river landscape, the river and the sky in black, the
reverse with the scene in mirror image, all within a border of
scrolling foliage on two later gilt-wood animal head feet
