A moss and banded agate snuff bottle
1750-1860
Very well-hollowed, of compressed globular form with a carefully
waisted neck, concave lip, neatly executed oval foot ring, the stone with
a faint gray ground suffused with ocher and green moss-like inclusions,
as well as russet and dark brown irregular banded striations.
