BUDDHA AND WORSHIPPERS (dhyanasana) flanked by two attendants within a pearl roundel.
CENTRAL ASIA, POSSIBLY KHOCHO, 7TH/8TH CENTURY A parasol is placed horizontally above the Buddha’s head.

to those painted on a banner of Bhaishajyaguru publosed in Ghose

pp.275-6. The seat’s radiating lotus petals with pointed tips is similar
to that on the reverse of the same banner (ibid., pl.79a, p.275).
