A FAMILLE ROSE ‘FLOWERS AND BUTTERFLIES’ VASE
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE
PERIOD (1875-1908)
The vase is moulded with two raised bands at the shoulder and is decorated
overall with a multitude of scattered butterfies amongst various fower sprays,
including chrysanthemum, peony, rose, morning glory, and lotus. The rim is
highlighted in gilt.
