          A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE
          ‘SCHOLAR AND QILIN’ CARVING
          18TH CENTURY
          The jade group is carved as a large qilin crouching
          beside a standing scholar wearing loose fowing
          robes. The eyebrows, mane and tail of the mythical
          beast are detailed with incisions. The stone is of a
          pale tone.

          A GREENISH-WHITE AND RUSSET JADE
          ‘THREE RAMS’ CARVING
          18TH CENTURY
          The jade is carved and pierced in the round as
          three recumbent rams with their legs tucked
          underneath them surrounding coiled wispy clouds
          rising upwards supporting a yinyang symbol. The
          russet stone lightens to a paler tone at the top of
          the cloud scrolls.
