A WHITE JADE CARVING OF SHOULAO
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The God of Longevity is carved smiling with his head turned slightly to one
side. He wears long robes with draping sleeves, and in one hand holds a lingzhi
branch slung over his shoulder. The jade is of an even white tone.
