A WHITE JADE ‘DEER AND CRANE’ TEAPOT AND COVER
One side of the teapot is carved with a deer under a pine tree, and the reverse is
decorated with two cranes with outstretched wings also below a pine tree. The
vessel is supported on four ruyi shaped feet. The stone is of a pale tone with
some russet inclusions.
