          A WHITE JADE ‘FIGURAL’ PLAQUE
          18TH-19TH CENTURY
          The plaque is carved to one side with a male fgure
          riding a dragon above crashing waves. The reverse
          is carved with a lady beside a basket of fowers
          and lingzhi fungus on a raft. The stone is of an even
          pale tone.

          LATE QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
          One side of the plaque is intricately carved with
          a rooster, surrounded by ruyi-form clouds. The
          reverse is similarly decorated with a hare.
