A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE
PENDANT
18TH CENTURY
The rectangular plaque is carved to each side with
a panel surmounted by two archaistic kui dragons,
one side is carved with the two Qiao sisters
reading a book, and the reverse is carved with a
poem. The jade is of an even pale tone.

The jade is carved as a standing female immortal,
with her head slightly turned to one side and a
large sea shell on her back.
