A GREEN AND YELLOW ENAMELLED ‘BOYS’ BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A
DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1665-1722)
The exterior of the bowl is fnely incised with a scene depicting boys at play on
a terraced garden beneath pine trees, highlighted in green enamel reserved
against a yellow ground, all between a lappet border and a stylised foral band
beneath the rim.
