A LIME-GREEN GROUND FAMILLE ROSE LANTERN VASE
JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE
PERIOD (1796-1820)
The elongated body of the vase is decorated with gilt shou characters,
Endless Knots, bats, and peaches all amongst scrolling foliate lotus blooms.
The shoulder of the vase is decorated with a ruyi-head band and the foot is
encircled with a lappet band above fower scrolls. The domed cover is similarly
decorated and is surmounted by a foral ball fnial. The interior of the rim and
base are enamelled turquoise.
