          A BOXWOOD RUYI SCEPTRE AND TWO BAMBOO IMMORTALS
          19TH CENTURY
          The group comprises a boxwood ruyi sceptre naturalistically carved as a
          gnarled stem terminating in a lingzhi head, with smaller openwork lingzhi
          fungus decorating the body; a carved bamboo fgure of Shoulao holding a
          peach and a staf; and a carved bamboo fgure of Luxing, the God of Fortune,
          wearing scholars robes and a ruyi sceptre.
