                                                                  A JADEITE ‘MYTHICAL BIRD’ VASE AND A JADEITE
                                                                  ‘DRAGON’ FITTING
                                                                  QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
                                                                  The jadeite ‘mythical bird’ vessel is carved with archaistic patterns,
                                                                  with a pair of loop handles below the mouth of the vase; the stone is of
                                                                  a cream tone with apple green inclusions. The jadeite tubular ftting is
                                                                  carved with a dragon chasing the faming pearl; the stone is of a pale
                                                                  green tone with emerald green inclusions.
                                                                  The ‘dragon’ ftting 4Ω in. (11.5 cm.) high

                                                                  A GILT-BRONZE SQUARE SEAL AND COVER
                                                                  QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
                                                                  The seal face is carved with four characters in seal script, reading Niu
                                                                  Yichen yin, ‘the seal of Niu Yichen’. The interior of the cover is inscribed
                                                                  with the characters ji xiang, ‘auspicious blessings’, and impressed with
                                                                  a two character mark reading da ji.
