A PARCEL-GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF
TSONGKAPA
18TH CENTURY
The fgure is cast seated in dhyanasana on a double
lotus base, with hands in dharmachakra mudra in
front of his chest, wearing robes with incised hems
and a pandita hat falling over his shoulders. The
face, arms and feet are highlighted in gilt.

A BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF
SHAKYAMUNI
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
Shakyamuni is depicted seated in dhyanasana
on a double lotus base, with the right hand in
varadamudra and the left hand in dhyanamudra.
The fgure is dressed in long fowing robes, with a
serene expression on his face and the hair styled in
tight curls below the tall ushnisha.
