          Each cover is intricately embroidered in brightly
          coloured foss silk and couched gilt threads to
          depict a central caparisoned elephant supporting a
          vase of auspicious objects on its back, surrounded
          by bats and foral sprays, all framed by a gilt classic
          scroll border.

          Each cover is fnely embroidered in coloured
          silk foss and couched gilt threads to depict
          a caparisoned elephant to the top register
          supporting a vase of auspicious objects on its back
          below a bat and shou character, and a Buddhist
          lion to the lower register, separated by a stylised
          lotus cartouche.
