A PAIR OF LARGE FAUX-BOIS JARDINIÈRES
19TH CENTURY
Each barrel-form jardinière stands on four ruyi-head feet, the sides are
enamelled in shades of brown and ochre in imitation of planks of wood tied
together by two bands of yellow-enamelled braided rope. Each base is marked
with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
