AN INSCRIBED FAMILLE ROSE ‘FIGURAL’
PLAQUE
20TH CENTURY
The plaque is painted with a bearded scholar
holding a staf, beside a long poetic inscription
which describes the spring scene, followed by the
signature of Wang Qi and two red seals, reading
Xichang Wang Qi (Wang Qi of Xichang) and tao mi
(lover of ceramics) respectively.
