                    A red overlay glass snuff bottle
                    18th/19th century
                    Well-hollowed, of tapering ovoid form with a waisted neck, flat rim,
                    finely finished oval foot ring, carved through the thick transparent red
                    overlay to each of the main sides with a vessel holding auspicious
                    fruits, and supported either on stacked books or a fancy stand,
                    separated by faux lion mask-and-ring handles.

                    An inside-painted rock crystal snuff bottle
                    Ma Shaoxuan, 1900
                    The rounded rectangular bottle masterfully decorated to the front in
                    a subdued color combination, displaying fan paintings and leaves of
                    calligraphy, the reverse dated gengzi chun yue (spring of 1900), with
                    a calligraphic inscription probably excerpted from a stele, signed Ma
                    Shaoxuan above a vertical seal mark.

                    Two overlay decorated milky white snuff bottles
                    Li Junting School, attributed to Yangzhou, 19th century
                    Each of rounded rectangular shape, the first carved through five-color
                    overlay, one side displaying a fisherman rowing his boat past rocks
                    and trees, the reverse with an ebullient scene of a duck and goose
                    swimming in a lotus pond, the narrower side set with bat-and-ring
                    handles; the second delicately carved through a thin layer of glaucous-
                    brown and pink depicting a nomad-looking man shooting at a bird
                    with arrow near a horse tethered to a tree, the upper left with a two-
                    character cartouche, the reverse with an auspicious design depicting
                    a crane perching on the roof of a pavilion behind an old pine tree, its
                    head turning to the sky as if answering a message from another crane
                    holding a lingzhi spray.

                    An agate snuff bottle
                    19th century
                    Well-hollowed, of ovoid form with a straight neck, very subtly
                    concave rim, flat foot, carved in rounded relief to one side with a
                    lotus sprig rising from incised wave swirls, the central leaf utilizing the
                    natural stratum of the stone decorated with a lotus pod surrounded
                    by lotus petals, with stalk of reed elegantly stretching to the other
                    side of the bottle.
