TWO WHITE JADE OVAL PLAQUES
20TH CENTURY
The smaller plaque is carved to one side with a lady and a boy observing the
smoke billowing from a censer. The reverse is carved with a prunus branch
beside the characters mei kai wu fu, which may be translated as ‘the Five
Happinesses arrive with the prunus blossom’. The larger plaque is carved with
a lady seated by a table, with a poetic inscription ending with the signature
Zigang to the reverse. Both stones are of an even pale tone.

A WHITE JADE ‘DRAGON’ PLAQUE
The plaque is carved in low relief with a boy riding a dragon amongst clouds,
below a four-character inscription and above cresting waves. The reverse
is carved with a front-facing writhing dragon and a faming pearl amongst
swirling clouds. The stone is of an even white tone.

A WHITE JADE VASE GROUP
20TH CENTURY
It is carved as a baluster vase and cover next to a gu vase amongst three
clambering chilong. The stone is of an even white tone.
