          A PAIR OF RED GLASS OVERLAY VASES AND COVERS
          19TH CENTURY

          Each vase is carved through the red overlay with various birds in fight and perched on prunus
          branches revealing the opaque white ground. The covers are surmounted with fower bud fnials.
          Each base is carved with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.

          19TH CENTURY

          The vase is covered in a speckled turquoise and rich blue glaze, stopping at the foot rim and
          spilling over to the interior of the neck.
