The group is carved in the round with a smaller parrot nestled on top of a larger
parrot with incised details on the wings and tail feathers. The stone is of a
white tone with some minor milky and russet inclusions.

The group is carved as two monkeys clambering upon a peach growing from a
leafy branch. The stone is of an exceptionally even white tone.

A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE ‘BEAN POD AND BUTTERFLY’
PENDANT
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The pendant is carved with a butterfy and bean pods on leafy stems, the
reverse with a russet leaf carved utilising the natural darker inclusions. The
stone is of an even white tone with areas of russet skin to the reverse.
