A CARVED IVORY FIGURE OF GUANYIN
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The standing bodhisattva is depicted wearing
long fowing robes that open at the chest to reveal
elaborate jewellery. The hands are held together
in front of the body. There is a gentle smile to the
face.
