The brush pot is carved and pierced to the sides with a continuous scene of The ladies are carved in mirror image on a circular stand, each wearing long

pine and wutong trees. It is supported on a raised reticulated foral base carved foral robes and holding an apple blossom branch with one hand and a fower
with three stylised ruyi-heads.
