Seated in dhyanasana upon a beaded double lotus base, his hands held at
his chest in dharmachakra mudra, his robes bordered with foliate designs, his
downcast eyes holding a serene expression, with pendant ears and tightly
curled hair surmounted by an ushnisha, 19.3cm, 2kg.

A TIBETAN BRONZE FIGURE OF PADMASAMBHAVA
16 CENTURY

Sitting on a double lotus throne, wearing monk’s robes with a finely
decorated edge and a cloak, his lotus hat topped with a vulture’s feather
symbolising the realisation of the highest view, holding a two-pointed
vajra in his right hand and a kapala in his left hand, the sealed base with a
four-pointed vajra, 13cm, 371g.

A CHINESE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS
QING DYNASTY
Depicted seated in dhyanasana upon a rectangular pedestal which flares
towards the base, with his hands held upon his lap in dhyana mudra, he
wears body jewellery and simple robes, his hair adorned with beads and with
traces of cold painting, all framed by a flaming mandorla set behind him,
20.1cm, 1.9kg.
