                                                             Comprising: a pair of teapots and covers decorated with insects amongst
                                                             blossoming flowers, a circular floral-decorated dish with five stylised dragons
                                                             on a yellow ground to the base, a rectangular dish with chamfered corners,
                                                             and a quatrelobed tray painted with European figures in a garden, the reverse
                                                             with a landscape scene and an old paper label, 31cm max. (7)
                                                             £1,500-2,500
                                                             Provenance: from an English private collection, probably acquired in the 19th or
                                                             early 20th century, and thence by descent.

                                                             Enamels in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), pp.366-367, no.295 for a similarly
                                                             decorated yellow circular dish also with five blue dragons to the base.

                                                             horse and attendant in a garden, the foreground with a
                                                             reclining old man seated by a cart, all contained within
                                                             a delicate band of scrolling flowers and foliage, with an
                                                             archaistic dragon and a mark reading cui qi to the reverse,
                                                             10.2cm.

                                                             The U-shaped bodies rising from short flared feet to everted rims, decorated
                                                             with continuous scenes of figures in gardens between geometric and floral
                                                             bands, the interiors and bases lined with metal, 12.3cm. (2)

                                                             A PAIR OF LARGE CHINESE BRONZE MODELS OF LION DOGS
                                                             QING DYNASTY
                                                             Each beast depicted with one paw resting on a brocade ball, their faces
                                                             cast with fierce bulging eyes and wide open mouths, with tight curls of fur
                                                             framing their heads and to the backs of their legs, each with a small pup
                                                             clambering on its back, 32cm, 5kg each. (2)
