and butterflies amidst various trees and flowers, reserved on a dark green plumage detailed with wire, with white enamel to their crests and the tips
lotus-decorated ground, with bats, fruit and precious objects to the waisted of their wings, their eyes picked out in dark red, the covers formed as their
flared neck, 39.5cm. wings, 19cm. (4)

FANGGU
LATE QING DYNASTY
Decorated with bands and lappets enclosing taotie masks and other archaistic
motifs, the central section with flanges to the corners, with two bird-shaped
handles flanking the tall flaring neck, all supported on a spread foot, the base
with a four character Xuande mark, 39.7cm, 5.5kg.
