慧進（1355-1436年）曾應 於京 宣 《 經》，有上
萬人 。宣德皇 且 慧進主持《般若》、《寶 》、《
》、《 》四部經 以金字 寫完成。

It is mentioned in Palden Tashi’s (1377 – after 1452) biography in 1793 – catalogued among the nine goat-brain Sutras in Midian zhulin
Tibetan that a Chinese golden script Avatamsaka Sutra was kept in the xubian [Forest of pearls in the secret palace, second series], a catalogue
Medicine Buddha Hall at Dachongjiaosi. Palden Tashi, made National of the Qianlong Emperor’s religious art collection
Preceptor by the Xuande Emperor, built the imperially-sponsored
Dachongjiaosi in Gansu province in the 4th year of the Xuande period 1933 – the Palace Museum collection is moved from Beijing to Shanghai
(1429), around the same time that his friend Huijin was responsible for 1948-1949 – essential works from the collections of the Palace Museum
producing the four Sutras. As the Avatamsaka Sutra is important to and the Preparatory O¬ce of the Central Museum are selected to be
the Huayan school doctrine, it is possible that this missing Sutra was moved to Taiwan, where they now remain in the National Palace Museum
given to Dachongjiaosi at its founding.
