The present vase is extremely rare for its decoration and its bat-form
handles and only one other example of this design appears to have
been published, in the collection of the National Palace Museum, and
illustrated in Catalog of the Special Exhibition of K’ang-His, Yung-
Cheng and Ch’ien-Lung Porcelain Ware from the Ch’ing Dynasty in the
National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1986, no. 73 (fig. 1).
