     A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE ‘BOYS’ BOWL

     GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF
     THE PERIOD (1875-1908)

     The bowl is of deep, rounded form, painted around the exterior
     with a continuous scene of boys playing in a balustrade garden
     beneath scrolling clouds. A double-line encircles the mouth,
     while a keyfret band encircles the foot.
