A GREEN-ENAMELLED ‘DRAGON’ JAR

DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
(1821-1850)

The ovoid body is decorated in green enamels outlined in
underglaze blue with two large dragons striding through flames
and clouds in pursuit of flaming pearls, with a lappet band below
and the bajixiang in a band on the shoulder above set between
narrow ruyi and spiral borders.
