A WHITE JADE ‘BOYS’ INCENSE BURNER In scholars’ gatherings, burning incense in a proper burner was usually

The globular vessel raised from four flared lingzhi-head feet, with two of incense burner vary from archaistic style to the latest fashion, from
boys clambering over the sides acting as the handles, each holding a bronze to jade. Incense burners or cups decorated with a handle in
lingzhi branch, the soft-hued white matrix exhibiting pale russet and the design of two boys have been popular since the Song Dynasty.
