Meiji/Taisho Period
Variously depicting: the Takarabune with
the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, signed; a
crouching figure with a rat on his back, holding
a large bun, signed; a lady washing her hands
in a pail, with a small child to one side and
standing figure holding a staff behind; a lady
holding a tea bowl, her arm around a child
holding a bouquet of flowers; a boy covering a
chicken with a basket, signed; an oni grasping
the leg of a stand laden with a dish of food;
and a seated oni with a drum attached to his
back.
