A FINE SMALL BLUE-GLAZED WATER POT
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE
AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The compressed globular body stands on a recessed base curving to a constricting mouth
rim with a small notch, and is covered on the exterior with an even sacrificial-blue
glaze, pooling to a darker tone around the base. The interior and base are covered with a
transparent glaze.
