A LARGE AND VERY RARE LONGQUAN
CELADON WASHER
LATE SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 2ND HALF OF 13TH CENTURY
The washer is elegantly potted with slightly rounded sides rising
from a flat base to a lipped rim. It is covered overall with a thick
glaze of pale bluish-green tone with the exception of an area in the
centre of the base.
