A LARGE RED POTTERY FIGURE OF A HORSE

HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-AD 220)
The horse is shown standing foursquare with head facing forward, its
ears pricked, nostrils fared and teeth bared. There are traces of white and
black pigments remaining.

Sing’s Antique Gallery, Hong Kong, early 1990s.
The result of Oxford Authentication Ltd. thermoluminescence test
no. PH 1/40 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
