           A VERY RARE FAMILLE ROSE ENAMELLED WHITE GLASS
           ‘FLOWER BASKET’ SNUFF BOTTLE
           Guyue Xuan iron-red enamel mark, Beijing, circa 1775-1799
           Of flattened rounded form, with a recessed oval base, the milky-white
           glass finely carved in relief and decorated in famille rose enamels in the
           form of a wicker basket bearing a profusion of flower sprays including
           prunus blossom, lilies, chrysanthemums, peonies and narcissus, all
           beneath an overlapping plantain leaf collar and a scrollwork band at
           the neck, the foot inscribed Guyue xuan (Ancient Moon Pavilion), gilt
           metal stopper and ivory spoon.
