A famille rose vase
Yongzheng
The cylindrical body gently tapering to the foot,
brightly enamelled with a vivid scene enclosing
ten ladies playing various muscial instruments
including a music stone, drums, flute, qin, pipes and
tambourine, the reverse unusually decorated with
a pale aubergine tree, all under a ruby red moon
amongst undulating cloud scrolls.
