118 | Bonhams Finely painted around the body with a continuous
river landscape with waterfall and viewing pavilion,
a fishing boat floating by the bank near a sage and
companion, all beneath a tiny moon, a crenellated
band around the slightly splayed foot, a triangular
diaper motif surrounding the short flaring neck.

ice’ jar and cover
Kangxi
The rounded sides rising to a narrow mouth, the
body vividly painted with flowering prunus on a
cracked ice ground, a key-fret border around the
mouth.
