There are several legends around Chang E, the Goddess of the moon.
One of the stories describes her stealing the pill of Immortality that
was given to her husband Hou Yi, Lord Archer. Due to the Immortality
pill she then floats up to the moon with a hare as her companion. The
present lot shows Chang E with the hare and other attendants.
