A small yellow-glazed incised
‘dragons’ bowl
Guangxu six-character mark and of the period
Thinly potted, covered inside and out in a rich yellow
glaze, the exterior incised with two five-clawed
dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls above cresting
waves, framed by incised double lines at foot and
rim.

Xuantong seal mark and of the period
The deep sides rising from a tall inverted foot to a
slightly everted rim, the undecorated exterior and
interior covered in a dark egg-yolk-yellow glaze.
