A large Swatow brown-ground bowl
Early 17th century
The rounded sides rising to an everted rim, covered
in an overall rich brown glaze, the central medallion
decorated in white slip with five chrysanthemum
heads, surrounded by a floral border beneath a
wave border at the rim.
