flowers, butterflies and insects flying above, all under
an iron-red moon.

A wucai cylindrical vase, rolwagen
Circa 1640
Painted in blue and enamelled in shades of iron-
red, aubergine, green and yellow with a continuous
richly-decorated lotus pond with three cranes
amidst aquatic plants and two in flight, all beneath a
border of various floral sprays at the neck.
