A PAIR OF EXPORT BROWN HAWKS
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The hawks are fnely modeled in mirror image standing on colorful
rockwork with one yellow talon raised. Their heads are cocked and
their green-rimmed, black, beady eyes are fxed, while their plumage
is picked out in tones of sepia enamel with gilt feather details.
