A PALE GREEN JADE ‘MAGNOLIA’ VASE
18th century
Naturalistically carved as a deeply-hollowed
flower head carved as a tall magnolia blossom
formed by layers of overlapping and curling
petals, flanked by smaller buds, all stemming
from a gnarled branch, the stone of pale green
tone flecked with icy inclusions, wood stand.
14cm (5 1/2in) high. (2).
