           EMBROIDERED FRAGMENT
           Qing Dynasty
           The apricot-ground hanging finely
           embroidered in coloured silks with a central
           medallion enclosing multi-coloured phoenixes
           within a profusion of blossoming peonies, all
           reserved on a ground of scrolling flowers and
           leafy tendrils and within a border of further
           blossoming flowers and foliage, 266cm (104
           6/8in) x 262cm (103 2/8in); the red-ground
           silk pleated altar front embroidered with
           various Buddhas, 216cm (85in) x 110cm x
           (43 2/8in); and the brown-ground velvet panel
           embroidered with an elegant multi-storeyed
           pavilion floating amidst tumultuous waves,
           53cm (20 7/8in) x 78cm (30 6/8in). (3).

           A RARE AND MASSIVE STUCCO HEAD
           OF GUANYIN
           17th/18th century
           The full fleshy face with downcast eyes
           accentuated by wide arched eyebrows,
           straight nose, plump pouty lips and subtle
           double-chin, the forehead with a large circular
           urna, all between long pendulous ears,
           beneath neatly-dressed hair drawn up in a
           high chignon secured by a high foliate crown
           with a central Buddha Amitabha amidst
           interlacing floral scrolls, metal stand.
