A RARE SMALL WHITE JADE ‘MEDICINE’ CASE AND COVER A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE ‘PEBBLE’ SNUFF BOTTLE
17th/18th century Mid Qing Dynasty
Of long flattened oblong form rising from a stepped foot, with chord Smoothly carved around the exterior with four phoenix, their wings
runners on each side, the exterior carved with archaistic taotie masks extending over the base of the pebble, the stone of pale white tone
and motifs, the cover similarly decorated surmounted by a a small with russet-brown patches, the stopper with turquoise inlay.
Buddhist lion finial, the stone of even pale white tone. 8cm (3 1/8in) long. (2).
