TWO ROCK CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLES
1750-1860
The first a rock crystal bottle of upright rectangular form with
sloping shoulders and a flat oval foot ring, one face carved
in low relief with boats by a rocky shoreline; the second a
rutilated quartz bottle of ovoid form, supported on an oval
foot ring, the clear material infused with an array of black
tourmaline needles and iridescent inclusions.

TWO QUARTZ SNUFF BOTTLES

The first an amethyst bottle of compressed ovoid form with
a flat lip and concave oval foot, the stone carved in low relief
with five bats and clouds; the second a smokey crystal bottle
of upright rectangular form with raised panels on the front and
back and supported by a flat oval foot rim.
