A FAMILLE VERTE ‘DOVES AND DOG’ SNUFF BOTTLE
Daoguang mark and of the period
Of flattened rounded form, with a tubular neck and oval foot ring, one
side enameled with a playful pair of pekingese, the other with a pair of
doves beside a flowering orchid, the unglazed foot pad enclosing the
four-character iron-red seal mark.

A FAMILLE-ROSE ENAMELED MOLDED OPENWORK
PORCELAIN ‘LUOHAN’ SNUFF BOTTLE
Qianlong mark, 1820-1880
Of ovoid form, brightly enameled and molded in high relief with the
‘Eighteen Luohan’ with their attributes, against an openwork cloud
ground, pierced to reveal the inner bottle, the foot bearing a Qianlong
seal mark in iron-red.
