AN ENAMELED YIXING STONEWARE INSCRIBED
SNUFF BOTTLE
1800-1850
Of flattened pear shape with a flat lip, thickly enameled around the
sides with stalks of bamboo, a seal in archaic script reading qi xiang
wan qian (a future filled with bountiful change), a teapot, and a poem in
the manner of Su Dongpo, all supported on an oval foot ring.
